The Alignment of Leadership Development & Participatory Action Research (PAR): One Process and Product from the University Northside Partnership is a workbook that can be downloaded from this site for free for groups who want to follow the path created during the three Foundations of Participatory Action Research workshops held in 2008-2009 in North Minneapolis. The authors want to thank all those who engaged in this process and helped to build the growing partnership between the North Minneapolis community and the University of Minnesota. Those efforts will live on in this workbook (download PDF file, 2 MB).
Asset Mapping and Indicators Report
The North Minneapolis Asset Mapping and Indicators report for 2006 is available in PDF format. The document, produced by the University of Minnesota's Office for Business & Community Economic Development, brings together interviews, census data and detailed maps to paint a clearer picture of life in North Minneapolis.
The report is intended to serve as a tool for those living and working in the community to develop action plans, and to source for potential partners.
